Wednesday 4th November - walk ***** - Felixstowe sunrise prom walk – sunny but chilly.

When Chris the weatherman on ITV.s About Anglia said last night that there would be a good sunrise today and pleaser send in your pics it was too good an invitation to ignore! So, Mag and I got up at 6.30 and walked the short distance to the cliff top, we are so lucky to have the sea at the end of our road. The strong winds of recent days has gone and with not a cloud in the sky it was perfect although a tad on the chilly side! We were down by Felixstowe pier when we got our first glimpse of the sun and then carried on towards The Manor end stopping to watch a brave open water swimmer entering the water! The prom was very quiet for such a lovely day just a few dog walkers, cyclists and joggers which made it even nicer:) We reached the end of the prom and decided against continuing to Landguard so turned back reaching the Spa pavilion before heading for home walking back with our neighbours out walking their dog. Home for breakfast while watching the circus that is the American election with Trump proving what a divisive plonker he is! Exercises then off to Ipswich to have lunch with my Dad and Sister before lockdown hits us again!
